If a customer clicks an affiliate’s link but doesn’t buy right away, and then comes back later (without using the affiliate link) to make a purchase, will the affiliate still earn a commission?
Yes! As soon as a customer clicks an affiliate’s link, the tracking begins.
For 30 days after that click, any orders from that customer will generate a commission for the affiliate, even if they come back later without clicking the link again.
However, the customer needs to use the same device and browser they used the first time for the tracking to work properly.
